The name citrine comes from the Old French word for lemon and you can imagine why. A yellow variety of quartz, it has always been a popular choice of gemstone as it is both beautiful and fabulous quality. This stunning pear shape will no doubt form the centre piece of a drop pendant.....with diamonds above perhaps?
