Notes on this Gemstone

This is an emerald of exceptional quality. The combination of mint green colour with a translucent material nearly free of inclusions is a rare combination. We sourced it from an emerald specialist at the famous Tucson gem fair, the largest of its kind in the world - it was mined in Afghanistan. There are many ways one could mount this stone but a delicate halo of brilliant cut diamonds would enhance it nicely.
