Heliodor is a member of the noble beryl family, which also includes emerald, aquamarine and morganite. In ancient Egypt, it was believed to be a gift from the gods and was often used in amulets and jewellery. Heliodor Beryl is always called Golden Beryl and perhaps that is a more accurate description. No matter. It's utterly gorgeous however one names it.
