You may be aware that the vast majority of opals come from Southern Australia. There are Mexican Fire opals, though that is another story. For the last two centuries, they have been mined so much that it extremely hard to find fine examples. Thankfully, we have this pair that are truly stunning. You want to see an even zonal spread and array of colour. These have both with a generously high dome. You won't find many examples of these around these days.
