Cushion-cut gems have become supremely popular for some years now. There is something about the shape that refuses to be defined. Not round, oval, square or octagon. Having said that, this is closest to a rectangle/octagon, yet without the hardness of straight lines. It happens to looks much larger than 1.85 carats which can't be a bad thing. Stunning.
