This Sri Lankan natural (unheated) spinel almost defies a colour description. Green? Violet? Blue? ...or a combination of all three? Well, as it comes with a certificate that demands classification, it is...officially...and deep blue.

Take a look, turn it around, and you will find a myriad of subtle colours.
