Tanzanite

It doesn't take a genius to work out that Tanzanites come from Tanzania. It is one of the rarest gemstones on Earth, and is estimated to be a thousand times rarer than diamonds. It's only found in a small area in Tanzania, and some estimate that it will be depleted for mining within 30–40 years which makes it a target for an investment. Of course it helps that its electric blue vibrancy is just so beautiful and captivating. This example cannot be surpassed.
